Family business Trippaers Transport celebrates 35 years of flexible and fast-paced transport operations

It’s party time at Trippaers Transport as we look back on 35 great years of growth. Actually, it is 35 years plus 1, as last year corona unfortunately prevented us from celebrating. All the more reason to take a backward glance at the past three and a half decades and to take a look ahead at what the future has in store.

From a hobby that got out of hand to a professional haulage company

When Trippaers senior bought 3 clapped out trucks more by accident than by design in 1986, which meant his good lady wife had to wait to get a new kitchen, he had no idea that this was to mark the start of a thriving haulage company. Nor had he ever dreamed that the second generation would take over and go on to expand the company. 36 years down the line, his business - a hobby that got out of hand - has turned into a well-oiled, professional medium-sized company that continues to uphold the same family values as when it got started.

Expansion plans for even more bespoke haulage services

These deep-rooted values are what make us unique in the industry. Small enough to remain personal and big enough to be adaptable. This year sees us make an important step on the path towards sustainable growth. We are expanding our site in Genk with the purchase of a plot of industrial land, we are expanding and greening our vehicle fleet and we are having solar panels fitted on the roof of our warehouse. This will enable us to continue to ensure the quality and flexibility of our service delivery.

Sustainable plans for the future for the best transport services

We will never allow our growth to come at the expense of the personal attention we give our customers and our people. Or at the expense of nature. Which is why we are investing in modern and sustainable equipment for our trucks & trailers and in growth opportunities for our team of keen and seasons employees. Our adaptability and the small size of scale on which we operate means our drivers are able to work on a self-reliant basis, albeit supported by our team.

In doing so, we are strategically building a sustainable future for Trippaers Transport. Here’s to the next 35 years!
